2025 - 2026 Team NBS


Team NBS


Under the administration of Gus Pannel (1977-1982), the Olympic scholarship fund was created and Team NBS was formed.


Team NBS has provided scholarships and funding for more than 45 athletes since it’s inception.


We have had six (6) Team NBS Olympians:

- Bonnie St. John, representing United States of America

- Ralph Green, representing United States of America 

- Seba Johnson, representing United States of America

- Error Kerr, representing Jamaica

- Henri Rivers IV, representing Jamaica 

- Tallula Proulx, represeting Philippies

We continue our commitment and maintain our focus on Team NBS representing the United States in the Olympics.


Our team “NBS” trains all over the country.  We presently have thirty-four (34) athletes representing all four regions in the National Brotherhood of Snowsports.
 


ELITE Team

The NBS Elite Team represents athletes that train year-round and compete at the highest levels (National/International) of competition in their respective snow sport. Example: NorAms, World Cups, Europa Cups)
 

 

AVA KEENAN

Ski Moguls

Ava Keenan is an Elite Freestyle Mogul Skier and multi-time Junior National Champion. Having competed at the NorAm Super Finals at a young age, she is building toward Olympic qualification in 2030 and beyond.

  

 

BOGALE GIDDINGS

Ski Slopestyle & Big Air


Bogale Giddings is an Elite Freestyle Skier competing in Slopestyle and Big Air on the World Cup circuit. Known for progression and consistency, he continues to build results at the highest level while preparing for long-term Olympic goals.

 

 

BRIAN RICE

Snowboard Slopestyle & Big Air


Brian Rice, known as “Flyinbrian,” is an Elite Freestyle Snowboarder specializing in Big Air and Slopestyle. Recognized for his amplitude and technical progression, he is focused on qualifying for the 2030 and continuing to compete among the world’s best.

 

 

BRONSON CULVER

Alpine Ski Racing

Bronson Culver is an Elite Alpine Ski racer competing internationally in FIS and Nor-Am events with Burke Mountain Academy’s E-Team. A lifelong racer who began skiing at age two, he is focused on advancing to the World Cup circuit and representing Team NBS on the global stage.

 

 

GIADA BRIENZA

Snowboard Halfpipe


Giada Brienza is a Copper Mountain–based Snowboarder competing at the Elite level with Team NBS. As one of the youngest athletes in the program, she continues to build momentum on the National and International stage while pushing toward World Cup podium goals.

 

 

KEAGAN SUPPLE

Freeski Slopestyle & Big Air


Keagan Supple is a World Cup Freeski athlete competing in Slopestyle and Big Air. Known for clean execution and consistency, he continues to build results at the highest level while representing the next generation of Elite Freeski talent.

 

 

LJ HENRIQUEZ JR

Snowboard Freestyle


Lenim “LJ” Henriquez is an Elite Freestyle snowboarder known for his standout street-style performances and X Games success. Competing at the highest levels of the sport, he is focused on future X Games titles and Olympic medals while expanding representation in snowboarding.

 

A Team

NBS A team athletes train 4 or more days a week, are part of a competition program, compete in multiple events throughout the year and attend camps outside of the regular season. Most competitions are at the National and Regional level of their sport (USASA comps, USSA/FIS) and qualify for Regional championships with strong results. 
 

 

CHELSEA CHARLES

Alpine Ski Racing

 

Chelsea Charles is a U18 Alpine Ski racer and student-athlete at Stratton Mountain School in Vermont. Competing at the FIS level and internationally, she is focused on long-term Olympic goals while representing Trinidad & Tobago on the global stage.

 

 

FANTAYE GILBERTSON

Alpine Ski Racing


Fantaye Gilbertson is an Alpine Ski racer from Minnesota dedicated to progressing through national competition. Adopted from Ethiopia at age three, she is working toward becoming the first female Ethiopian Winter Olympian.

HELAINA RIVERS

Alpine Ski Racing


Helaina Rivers is a U21 FIS Alpine Ski racer from Long Island, New York, competing nationally and internationally with Team NBS. A graduate of Holderness School and committed collegiate student-athlete, she balances elite training with academic excellence while pursuing long-term international competition goals. Helaina continues to build FIS points and experience as she advances through high-level alpine racing.

 

 

HENNIYAH RIVERS

Alpine Ski Racing

 

Henniyah Rivers is a U21 FIS Alpine Ski racer from Long Island, New York, competing at the national level with Team NBS. A dedicated student-athlete and high-level competitor, she trains year-round to strengthen her technical precision in Slalom and Giant Slalom. Henniyah is focused on sustained progression and future international racing opportunities.

 

 

HENRI RIVERS IV

Alpine Ski Racing

Henri Rivers IV is a Jamaican Alpine Ski racer who competed in the Men’s Slalom at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milano Cortina, representing Jamaica on the sport’s biggest stage. An 18-year-old from New York, he advanced through the FIS pipeline to qualify for the Olympics and continues building toward World Cup competition. Through his performance, Henri is helping expand global visibility and representation for Caribbean athletes in Alpine skiing.

 

 

TALLULAH PROULX

Alpine Ski Racing (Slalom & Giant Slalom)

Tallulah Proulx is an Alpine Ski racer based in Park City, Utah, and a longtime Team NBS athlete. A dual citizen of the United States and the Philippines, she competed for the Philippines at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games and continues building toward future international milestones.

 

 

WILL CHAUSSIGNAND

Nordic Skiing & Biathlon

Will Chaussignand is a Nordic Cross Country and Biathlon athlete raised in the High Rockies. With a strong endurance foundation, he is focused on competing at the Winter Youth and Olympic Games levels.

 

B Team

 NBS B team athletes train several days a week and compete in at least 4 competitions throughout the year. Most of their season is spent competing at the Regional or Divisional level of their sport (Futures Tour, USASA Nationals, Regional USSA races), their results may qualify them for Regional Championships but are not in contention to win Regionals.  
 

 

BRIONIE WAKOOLI

Alpine Snowboarding

 

Brionie Wakooli is a competitive Alpine Snowboarder racing in NORAM and FIS national and international events. After transitioning to hard boots in 2024, she quickly earned podium finishes and continues progressing toward World Cup competition.

 

 

JACKSON FELLOWS

Alpine Ski Racing

Jackson Fellows is an Alpine Ski racer from Vermont who has been competing since the age of five. Focused on continued progression through the U16 circuit, he is building toward Elite-level results while inspiring younger racers.

 

 

JUAN GEORGE

Snowboard Freestyle


Juan George is a Freestyle Snowboarder with a background in surfing and skateboarding. Competing internationally in both the United States and Australia, he is advancing through NorAm-level events with long-term Olympic aspirations. Juan has been selected to represent Australia at the FIS Park & Pipe Junior World Championship in Calgary, Canada 2/24 – 3/7, 2026. competing in Slopestyle, Big Air and Rail Jam.

 

 

JULIEN TURONE

Alpine Ski Racing


Julien Turone is a rising Alpine Ski racer and new member of Team NBS for the 2025–2026 season. After beginning competitive racing later than many of his peers, he quickly climbed the ranks with multiple podium finishes and is now focused on lowering his FIS points while representing Jamica in international competition.

 

 

LANDON DEVITO
Alpine Snowboarding

 

Landon DeVito is a 17-year-old Alpine snowboarder from Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and a newly named member of Team NBS for the 2025–2026 season. A USASA Giant Slalom National Champion and two-time National Slalom silver medalist, he competes in FIS, NORAM Cup, and USASA Men’s Open Class events with the U.S. Snowboard Racing Team. He is focused on Olympic and World Cup goals while helping expand representation in snow sports.

 

 

NATHAN DEVITO
Alpine Snowboarding

Nathan DeVito is an Elite Alpine Snowboarder from Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and a newly appointed member of Team NBS for the 2025–2026 season. A two-time USASA Giant Slalom National Champion, he has earned multiple national medals and is ranked 6th overall in the NORAM Cup Series as of January 2026. Competing with the U.S. Snowboard Racing Team and Lees-McRae College, he is focused on World Cup and Olympic goals while inspiring the next generation of riders.

 

 

REGINALD HICKS

Ski Freestyle / Freeski

 

Reginald Hicks is a Freestyle Ski athlete progressing through the Team NBS development pathway. Training in Freeski disciplines, he continues to build technical progression and competition experience as he advances toward higher-level events.

 

C Team

 NBS C team athletes are generally part of a weekend program or have limited training during the ski season but are developing their skills with the goal of consistently competing at a Regional/Divisional level in the future. For example, some athletes may be competing at a local high school level and do not have USSA memberships. 
 

 

ALEXIS HEINS

Alpine Ski Racing


Alexis Heins is an alpine ski racer based in New York and a member of the Windham Ski Team. Competing in slalom, giant slalom, and speed disciplines, she continues to build competitive experience.

 

 

AMBER DAVIS

Snowboard Halfpipe

 

Amber Davis is a competitive Snowboarder specializing in Halfpipe and also competes in Banked Slalom and Freeride. Racing at the USASA Open Class level, she is focused on continued progression while building toward World Cup aspirations.

 

 

CAMERON (C.J.) TAYLOR

Alpine Ski Racing

Cameron (C.J.) Taylor is an Alpine Ski racer based in Alaska and a member of the Alyeska Ski Club. Competing in Slalom and Giant Slalom, he is focused on strengthening his technical foundation and continuing to rise through the competitive pipeline.

 

 

JULIEN APOLLO LORIAUX

Alpine Ski Racing (Slalom & Giant Slalom)

 

Julien Apollo Loriaux is an Alpine Ski racer from Oregon with more than a decade of experience in Slalom and Giant Slalom. Focused on qualifying for top-level high school and collegiate competition, he continues to pursue long-term Olympic aspirations.

 

 

LEILA LORIAUX

Alpine Ski Racing

 

Leila Loriaux is an Alpine Ski racer from Oregon who has been competing for more than 10 years. With strong state-level results and long-term goals in coaching and medicine, she is committed to continued growth on and off the mountain.

 

 

ROSEMARIE ISLA GILKES

Alpine Ski Racing

 

Rosemarie Isla Gilkes is an Alpine Ski racer from New Jersey and a longtime member of Team NBS. Competing in slalom and giant slalom, she is proud to represent the NBS Eastern Region and continues building toward higher-level racing opportunities.

 

 

ZAHRA-KADI KEGODE

Snowboarding

Zahra-Kadi Kegode is a competitive Snowboard athlete and member of Team NBS. Training through the program’s development pathway, she is focused on building competitive experience and advancing through structured national competition.

 

D Team

 NBS D team athletes are either new to the NBS Village or were not selected for a monetary scholarship as a member of the Elite, A, B or C Teams. 
  

 

ARIE GLASS

Snowboard Halfpipe


Arie Glass is a developing Snowboard athlete competing in Halfpipe and Freestyle disciplines. As a new member of Team NBS, he is focused on sharpening his technical skills and progressing toward higher-level competition.

 

 

 

DESMOND CAMPBELL

Alpine Ski Racing

Desmond Campbell is an 11-year-old Alpine Ski racer competing in the Pennsylvania Alpine Racing Association U12 division. A proud member of the Philadelphia Blazers Ski Club, he brings focus, curiosity, and enthusiasm to both sport and school.

 

 

D’NERO WILLBRICH

Ski Moguls & Slopestyle


D’Nero Willbrich is a Freestyle Skii athlete competing in Moguls and Slopestyle and training with PA Freestyle. Focused on aerial progression and high-level development, he continues building toward future competitive milestones.

 

 

JONAH NUMBERE

Alpine Ski Racing


Jonah Numbere is an Alpine Ski racer from Chicago competing in the Wisconsin Illinois Iowa Junior Alpine Association. After earning multiple podiums finishes during the 2025–2026 season, he is focused on qualifying for US Ski & Snowboard races and building long-term Olympic goals.

 

 

PENELOPE BRIENZA

Snowboarding


Penelope Brienza is an up-and-coming Snowboarder from Colorado Springs, Colorado, with multiple national championship podium finishes. She is focused on Futures and Rev Tour competition as she builds toward elite-level performance.

 

 

SABRINA NUMBERE

Alpine Ski Racing


Sabrina Numbere is a young Alpine Ski racer from Chicago who trains with the Wilmot Mountain Ski Team. Competing in the Wisconsin Illinois Iowa Junior Alpine Association, she is focused on continued podium finishes and steady progression.

 

 

YUSEF YOUNG

Alpine Ski Racing

Yusef Young is an Alpine Ski racer from Stockton, California, and a member of the Palisades Ski Team. With several years of competitive experience, he is focused on strengthening his race performance and advancing within the sport.
